In other aspects, polyurethane timing belts use polyurethane rubber teeth, which are composed of polyurethane rubber with high shear strength and appropriate hardness. They require precise shaping and distribution to correctly engage the tooth grooves of the pulley. The root should maintain a specified distance from the pitch line, and the pitch should remain unchanged during bending. In addition, the covering of the nylon cloth layer can effectively protect the friction-reducing part of the tape, has excellent wear resistance, and is composed of nylon cloth with a small friction coefficient.

Polyurethane synchronous belts are superior to rubber synchronous belts in terms of hydrolysis resistance, heat resistance and impact resistance, and have a wider transmission power range. Especially in terms of high-power transmission, polyurethane synchronous belts cannot be compared. The working temperature is generally -34~80℃. Rubber timing belts are products that we have been using for a long time. Because of their low price and high quality, they have always performed well in the market. However, in terms of ease of use and longevity, they cannot be compared with polyurethane timing belts.
