The polyurethane synchronous belt is actually an upgraded product for the rubber synchronous belt. The polyurethane synchronous belt is much better in terms of product quality and convenience. The back of this product is used for bonding and wrapping tensile elements, it should have good flexibility and resistance to bending fatigue, not easy to age, good oil resistance and wear resistance.
In addition to the technical requirements, a sharp-edged groove with a suitable size can also improve the bending fatigue resistance of the toothed belt, and at the same time allow the trapped air between the belt and the teeth to escape during operation to eliminate part of the noise.
The tensile layer is the tensile element of the synchronous belt, which is used to transmit power and ensure that the pitch of the synchronous belt remains unchanged during operation. It uses multi-strand steel wire rope (or polyester rope) to spirally wrap cloth along the width of the belt, and its position is set as the pitch line of the synchronous belt. The tensile layer must have high tensile strength and resistance to bending fatigue. The elastic modulus is large, and no elongation is allowed during operation, so that the pitch of the synchronous belt remains unchanged.
The teeth of polyurethane timing belts should have high shear strength, good wear resistance and oil resistance. The pitch distribution of the belt teeth is very demanding, and the belt teeth must mesh correctly with the tooth grooves of the pulley, so there are strict requirements on the correctness of the geometric parameters of the belt teeth. Polyurethane timing belts are known for their excellent resistance to oil and abrasion. Suitable for small and medium power high speed operation. The environment should be relatively dry, and the working temperature is generally -20~+80℃.
