(1) Wide range of hardness. And it still has good rubber elasticity and elongation under high hardness.

(2) High strength. Under rubber hardness, their tensile strength and tear strength are much higher than general-purpose rubber; under plastic hardness, their impact strength and bending strength are much higher than plastic.

(3) The adjustable range of performance is large. A number of physical and mechanical performance indicators can be changed within a certain range through the selection of raw materials and the adjustment of the formula, so as to meet the different requirements of users for product performance

(4) Wear-resistant. It is known as "wear-resistant rubber". Especially in the working conditions with the presence of water, oil and other wet media, its wear resistance is often several to dozens of times that of ordinary rubber materials. Although metal materials such as steel are very hard, they are not necessarily wear-resistant. For example, the large water pumps in the Yellow River irrigation area, the metal mouth rings and protective rings of the flow-passing parts have been washed by a large amount of sand, and they will be severely worn and leaked within a few hundred hours. , while the mouth ring and protective ring coated with polyurethane elastomer have not worn out after 1800 hours of continuous operation. Others such as husker rubber rollers for rice milling, vibrating sieve plates for coal preparation, track tracks for sports fields, dynamic oil seals for cranes and forklifts, elevator wheels and roller skate wheels, etc. are also polyurethane elastomers. where it comes in handy. What needs to be mentioned here is that in order to improve the friction coefficient of medium and low hardness polyurethane elastomer components and improve the wear resistance under load, a small amount of aluminum disulfide, graphite or silicone oil can be added to this type of polyurethane elastomer. lubricant.

(5) Oil resistant. The oil resistance of polyester polyurethane elastomer is not lower than that of nitrile rubber, which is equivalent to that of polysulfide rubber.

(8) Various processing methods and wide applicability. Polyurethane elastomers can be molded, mixed, and vulcanized like general-purpose rubber (referred to as MPU); they can also be made into liquid rubber, poured and molded or sprayed, potted, and centrifugally formed (referred to as CPU); Pellets, like ordinary plastics, are formed by injection, extrusion, calendering, blow molding and other processes (referring to CPU). Molded or injection molded parts, within a certain hardness range, can also be machined for cutting, grinding, drilling and other machining. The diversity of processing makes the applicability of polyurethane elastomers very wide, and the application fields are constantly expanding.
