Polyurethane Timing Belt
Polyurethane timing belt, also known as PU timing belt, is mostly composed of thermoplastic polyurethane and high-strength steel wire. The thermoplastic polyurethane material has high wear resistance, and various types of wire cores inside can ensure good running ability during its transmission.
Polyurethane endless power belts are produced through a special molding process. The steel wire core increases the strength and tensile force of the belt, so that the belt has good dimensional stability. Small tolerances can ensure the accuracy of thickness and length.
Polyurethane seamless timing belts are suitable for high-strength, high-precision and even high-speed transmission systems.
Polyurethane belts have the following properties:
Physical properties
- Dimensional stability - low pretension - low noise
- Highly wear-resistant - maintenance-free - highly elastic
- Linear speed up to 80 m/s
Chemical properties
- Anti-aging, anti-hydrolysis, anti-ultraviolet UVA, anti-ozone
- Working temperature: -20℃~+80℃ can withstand up to +110℃ for a short time
- Highly oil and ester repellent
- Resistant to most acids and bases
